Key facts The R&S®SMBV-K46 option generates signals for CDMA2000®, the North American standard for the third mobile radio generation. The R&S®SMBV100A supports the CDMA2000® standard 3GPP2 C.S0002-C, version 1.0, may 2002 (release C). Even signals for 1xEV-DV can be generated using R&S®SMBV-K46. Functionality overview of R&S®SMBV-K46:
  • Packet channel according to 1xEV-DV on the downlink
  • Operating modes “Traffic”, “Access”, “Enhanced Access” and “Common Control” on the uplink
  • “Misuse For Output Power Control” parameter for varying the original normal transmit power over time
  • Simulation of up to 64 additional mobile stations
  • Clipping for reducing the crest factor (vector & scalar)
